Bonded (a planetary RP)

"Nah, teeth are overrated," Adele said. "Now fingers, there's a statement piece that'll catch the eye of every young man that passes." She winked at Sybil, leaving the imagination to decipher whether she was serious or not. Adele noticed her new aquaintance's struggle with the medical supplies, but left her to it along with her pride. That's what she herself would have preferred. Looking around the room, Adele spotted a stack of cushions against the wall. She made her way among the debris to reach them, ignoring the stares she was getting, then proceeded to clean the blood covered blades she'd used thus far. They would of course receive a more detailed cleaning at her flat.

Sybil was grateful that her new companion didn't just take over for her when it came to dressing her wound, she hated things like that. Yes it may have taken longer and more fumbling to get it done one handed but it still got done and her pride was intact. After She had finished and packed the remaining supplies away in her pack she stood and looked to Adele. "I grabbed the rifle that was on the list but hadn't found anything else from the list yet. Is everyone dead that needs to be?" She asked her since she knew all the men from her section were dead she wanted to double check before she went waltzing off to find the remaining items.

Adele looked up from her own cleaning task. "Huh? Oh. I think anyone else who we'd need to worry about would be here already, guns drawn and yappin." Making a gun shape with her free hand, she aimed it towards the door and added, "Course, they wouldn't be standin there alive long." She sheathed her semi clean knives and went to close the shutter, chuckling at her own antics. "If you want to continue your little scavenger hunt, I'll get these remaining misfits out." She waved a hand at the few stragglers who had yet to leave.

Sybil rolled her eyes, scavenger hunt, right she supposed that made sense in the grand plan of things. But she wasn't going to mention that. She stood up with a wince and headed off to scour the warehouse for the remaining items on her list. While she was looking through the shelves and boxes she saw a few things that intrigued her and put them in her pack. She paused when she saw a small box next to some tools she recognized. She flipped the lid open and smiled, it was filled with small complex microchip. Some were like her own that help her block pain and process things faster. Others where to add other things, she tucked the box in her bag to sort through later. As she was looting she noticed a heat signature behind some boxes and reached in grabbing a man who was hiding. At first she thought given his obvious fear that he was a slave but he wasn't dressed like them, and he also had his own weapons. She slammed him against the wall and he wet himself. She sneered, "What are you doing here? grow a spine, answer me!" She shouted at him.

Dorian smiled down at the little rooster, he liked him and was happy to see he made it aboard the ship with the rest. He glanced back at the two girls speaking quietly to each other and smiled, he was also happy they decided to come with them. He turned to Frosty, "What do you think of the humans on board? Hey you ever think of trying to bond with a human, might improve your situation more." He replied to the little rooster.
"A bond? No, I'm not really interested in a bond..." Frosty said, then noticed Dorian's confusion. "Well, for one, I'm a chicken. I'm not an alien, just a talking chicken. I also... well... I don't quite understand 'bonding'. I'm fine with having friends, but a bond?"
Linda stared at him for a moment. After all her years of training, had she just assumed it was common knowledge? <<What's the point? The point is you don't die. They have a stronger survival instinct. Not only for themselves, but also those they care for.>> She crossed her arms and leaned against the wall. She could dump all the information out on him, but she doubted he would understand half of it. It had taken her this long, and she still didn't know everything.
Crow shrugged. <<I can take care of myself.>> he said a little defensively. He glanced at her and added, <<But, maybe you're right. I just don't know.... I guess you could say, I don't know how to 'bond'.>>

Adele used the correct keys and unshackled the last two people, their eyes wide with fright the entire time. By the time she got them free and out, she still couldn't tell if they could even speak. Idiots. She grabbed a few things from the room that might come in handy, then went to find Sybil.

Linda trilled, the Sirius version of a smile. <<Oh, I don't either. It's the human that does that. All you have to do is be around them enough.>>
