Bonded (a planetary RP)

(Well you better take her with ya then when you leave ya punk! )

Sybil sat in her workshop, finally finished with her work. She was pleased with how it had turned out and everything was in the green. With this upgrade not only did her arm work they way it was supposed to, it now exceeded the previous model in terms of abilities. She of course would need to field test the weapons capabilities of the upgrade but she felt fairly confident in that. She got up and headed for the shower to wash up before getting dressed and heading to the bar.
(That's the plan XD)

Adele dumped the body on a back street then shifted into her own form to continue the chase. Sybil may have a nice arm, but she wasn't too swift with all the metal weighing her down. Adele followed the trail of heavy footprints left behind and soon came upon the thief in a narrow alley. Dumb thing that he was, he had stopped to catch his breath and wait on his partner. Only it was an assassin that came his way instead of his fellow thief.
"He's not coming, ya know," she said, stepping into view. She rested her hand on a gun, then thought better of it and went for her sharpest dagger. A gunshot would attract too much attention.
The thief just stared at her as he shouldered the sack. When he pulled out his own gun to shoot, Adele was prepared and shifted into her lizard, then scurried up behind him. His shots rang loud in the alley, causing her to roll her eyes as she shifted back and slit his throat with no problem. With the amount of noise he made, she might as well have used her gun. "You're a real pal, you know that?" She said, stooping to dig trough his stolen goods. "Oh! Wow. Man, you know you just saved me a whole lotta trouble. Looky this. And this. I'll be taking all these, seeing as you don't have much need of them now." Into her pockets went all the items she thought she or Sybil could use later. More likely Sybil, considering Adele didn't have any mechanical parts of herself. Satisfied with her finds, she strode off, leaving the body in the alley.

(lol this is gonna be funny, these two on the road together. )

Sybil after she was freshened up and dressed headed out the door and towards the Dead drop. She wondered briefly if Adele would be there, or if she would have moved on already. She flexed her hand, feeling the new strength in her arm after the upgrade and grinned. Once she took a few side streets and alleys she came out onto the main way that headed to the bar, just in case she was being followed. She entered the bar and looked around, not seeing Adele she headed to the bar and smiled at Maddie as she waved her over and ordered herself a drink.

Adele hummed to herself the entire way to the bar. If the gunshots hadn't attracted anyone yet, then what harm would a little tune do. When she arrived, she pushed her hood back, letting it fall to her shoulders as she entered and looked for Sybil. It didn't take long to find her. Adele silently slipped into the chair beside the cyborg and placed a hand lightly on her shoulder. "So you're the kind of person who arrives when they say they will," she said, recalling the dim light left by the setting sun. "Good to know."

Sybil took a sip from her drink and nodded. "I am always on time, I hate being late. I see you made it one piece as well." She said nonchalantly as she flagged down the bartender for Adele. "Get a drink, on me, for your assistance earlier." She said with a grin as she gave Adele a glance at her new and improved arm, all polished up and working.

"Barely, but yes. I'm all here." Adele gave her a toothy grin before turning to tell the bartender "Champagne". She didn't want anything heavier which would slow her down. Not here, no complete relaxation even for an evening. She ran her gaze over the arm and whistled in admiration. "Bet it hurt like the dickens fixing it up. You did it yourself, right?" She knew firsthand that it hurt before the improvements. In the minute she'd been the cyborg, the pain had been nearly unbearable to her unaccustomed self.

Sybil grinned and nodded. "I don't trust anyone enough to work on my parts, I do all the work myself. And you would be right, it did hurt, a lot. But it was worth every ounce of agony. I will have to take you with me when I field test it so you can see first hand just how many new toys I have." She said with a dark grin, even she was excited for the field testing. The power in this arm was at least double maybe triple of her old one.

Adele reclined against her chair as she listened. "That sounds real swell. I'd like to see you test 'er; I missed your little performance with the slave trader earlier." The bartender slid the glass towards Adele and she picked it up, tilting the glass towards Sybil. "To blowing things up with new acquaintances," she said, with a grin.

Sybil grinned and saluted her with her beer. "I'll toast to that!" She said heartily as she took a swig from her beer. "I suspect now with the upgrade that stunt I pulled earlier would bring the building down, I am excited to see if I can. Find anything good from your haul?" She asked conversationally.

Adele glanced down to the sack she had dropped on the floor beneath her feet. "Oh, Yeah, quite a few things," she said, chuckling lightly as she recalled what she had done to get it. "There might be a few things in there you could use, So feel free to go through it." She looked over her shoulder towards the door as people came and went. She had an uneasy feeling about what she had done. Not guilt, far from that, but like she was being watched.

(I'll let you play the part of anyone who comes looking for them, should keep it interesting. :pop )

Sybil looked at the bag, curious she had brought it here with her. She bent down to look through some of it and noticed quite a few things that she could use in fact. Then she saw something she recognized in there, she closed the bag and readjusted herself in her seat. She picked up her beer and swirled the liquid around in it for a minute before speaking, although she didn't look at Adele when she did. "So you went back to Razad stall didn't you." Although it was more statement then question.
