Chicken Addict
Ok today while turning off a hose I had my two submissive roos try to start to crud with me by dropping wings and flapping them for attention all while invading my bubble. My problem child roo has been an angel and gives me a 10 foot bubble. I think these two have decided he is an omega now and are trying to move up the ranks they are crowing more.
But as they have decided to act like jerks I'll do the same. We had near 80's today after a pretty brutal cold snap so think they are just going into springtime breeding behaviors for this Sumatra breed. I really hate running them off the porch by showing up and just dominating them or running them down, but it serves the purpose of reminding them who the dominate roo in the family is.
I really hate roo behaviour and hate being forced to emulate it even more. I am starting to think I might be better served training my dogs to just run them down for instant karma, but don't know.
I am just musing here but using the dogs would be easy, as they are so easy to train. Training roos is just a big pain.
