Last Wednesday we put our 6 chickens on Safeguard because we found tape worm in droppings.i was told to treat the whole flock. They were on it for 3 days and then I changed out the water to fresh water and was told to repeat the process again in 10 days. So that would be on the 8th. I’ve noticed two of my hens kinda having a messy butt since then, but relatively normal poops.... is this normal from the medication? Also one of my hens I picked up yesterday was complete bones... and she’s been having very watery poops.... could this be from the medication?? Or would she maybe have something else? She seems normal otherwise, and looks fine until she’s picked up and you feel her bones.. laid an egg this morning... I can’t stop searching what it could be but I am at a loss with searching.... my vets here don’t take in chickens so it would be pointless to bring her in... idk how to get a stool sample if it’s not so much stool.... she’s a 6 month old Easter Egger.. anything is helpful! Thank you!!

Thank you!! Should I continue with another round of the meds then come the 8th? She wasn’t one that I was concerned about having the worm, two of my others I watched them pooped and found one that had the tapeworm, the other was foamy yellow. But I treated all of them for it. Should I start a probiotic now in their water now or if I do the second round start it them?
