Book Club!

Hello fellow book lovers! I have an extensive book collection. About 900 (yes physical) books. I just finished "The Plague and I' by Betty Mcdonald. I have several others books I am reading at the moment.

Holy cow! 900?! I thought I had a lot of books 😅
I swore I would never read ebooks but then I ran out of room for physical books so now I read a combination of ebooks and physical books.

I have a couple ebooks but I have yet to even read them. My oldest book that I have is a math book from 1864. It is in mint condition!

Hello! I know this has been quiet and empty for a few months, but I definitely like the idea of doing some bookish things. I've been looking around for some good books but I'm just not finding much that's interesting. I'm thinking about reading more Jane Austen since I very greatly enjoyed Pride and Prejudice last year. Is anyone still interested in trying to do this? My husband has a Kindle I could probably use, and we have several libraries here.

Wow, what a collection! We were homeschooled, so my mom has well over 1,000 at least. Bookshelves everywhere! My husband hobbies in publishing and also has a few hundred.

It would be interesting to still try to do this. Gotta love Jane Austen. Yeah, when we move with my book collection, my husband was shocked how many boxes there was. Since then acquired more. Lol.

It's nice to know there are other page turners still out there. Kindle doesn't count as turning a page.
Before we moved cross country and severely downsized housing, we donated / gave away over 2,000 books. We didn't realize how big the collection was until it was time to pack up and move.
Of course, there are books I wish we would have kept. :barnie

Wow, that's a crazy amount! If we had the space and money, I'm sure my husband would have thousands and thousands of books. 😂
