Book Collectors????

I just did some research online... I found a Raggedy Ann and Andy book (the one you have) printed in 1924 like yours. I twas in perfect condition and it was $425.00!!!

Well, I'll revive this thread. What do you think of this book? I haven't been able to find out much about the publisher, and it doesn't have a publication date.

It does have gift date, though, so it had to have been published in this year at the latest. It also has some block prints inside, one is a picture of the author.

Cool. I checked out the title and author on Abe books (my favorite book site) it doesn't seem to be of any monetary value, selling around $2.00, Charles Lamb was supposedly a big popular London author in his day. The one thing I like about books is that money isn't the biggest factor. It may be worth little practically, but if it is special to you (or someone else) it is priceless.

I've got quite a few older books but by far 4 of my favorites are these.

Broiler Production Dated June 1942 right on the cover

Poultry Handbook for the Southern States dated May 15, 1947 inside the cover

Principles of Veterinary Science its dated inside the cover 1949 but copyrighted 1920, and 1924

Beef Cattle Production in the South Dated 1941
