I want to learn all the ins and outs of chicken care/tending before starting my own flock. Can anyone recommend good sources for learning about all of the basics, such as feeding, coop construction, sanitation, laying, etc. Thanks! [IMG]

"Living with Chickens" by Jay Rossier

We liked it. Go to the library and type in Chickens. Usually shelved in the non-fiction you find the sections about dogs, cats, horses, all grouped in the same area. I thumbed through them and this was one of my favorites.
