Lock them in ther for several days checking on them several time a day If its hot out, This will help them know where they are supposed to go home to. I put mine in side for about 5 days and have never had an issue with the not going in thee coop good luck

Thanks for the advice! I left them in later this morning until 9 am. Some were anxious to come out but 2 seemed to like staying in a bit longer. Hmmm. Maybe some are getting more comfortable with their new home? The other 5 wasted no time exiting into the run

hopefully it goes better tonight. I think I'll put them in earlier tonight and leave them in later in the morning until they're all on the same page. Thanks!

Put a small light inside the coup. That should coax them in. I use solar walkway lights inside my coup, 2 of them, and as it gets dark outside the inside of the coup has just enough light to make it seem safer to be in there than the scary outdoors.

do you leave them out in the sun during the day and place them in the coop at night...just wondering how you get them to work in the coop? Thanks
