Border collie bark too! Wilson never shuts up...I considered a corgi, but the belly dragging in the mud puts me off. I also considered a sheltie, but the neighbors sheltie just barks constantly and ruined that.

they would get quite dirty!! Although Libby and Franklin can get really dirty when they want to too... they like rolling in stinky stuff and wet grass/dirt
My Aussies like to bark, but the do stop mostly when told. I have seen too many nutty shelties over the years. They seem to be as obsessive compulsive as border collie are. I've seen them spinning in circles a lot trying to herd the ceiling fan.I feel like a lot of the herding breeds have a propensity for being a bit vocal but Shelties take it to the next level LOL they bark/yap at everything.
Plus they’re smaller so likely a more high pitched/annoying bark lol
