Oh wow that’s impressive then!! It does seem like it would be a good cross. The super sweet, love everybody, eager to please nature of the Golden and the smarts and drive/motivation of the Aussie plus of course the goofiness and cuddliness of both breeds.

Yes...A definite breed cross to try...

Do you shave both of the Aussies? I thought you only shaved one of them?

I did also shave my first one. She was show bred too. My working type I did not shave and would never even consider it. They were all different in coat type. The show bred ones were are so thick in the undercoat I couldn't get it out when they blew their coats. I personally see nothing wrong with shaving them. They are happy, I'm happy. There's worse things in the world for dogs to have to experience.

That’s true but if they’re shaved consistently anyway then that part won’t really matter.

Which my dog has no use for. She can sit out in a snowbank at -20 Fahrenheit and not feel cold.

I hope the next one will have a normal coat, so it isn't an issue.

My dog looks adorable. Who cares what right is? That's a personal preference.
