HERE IS OUR LITTLE RESCUE BOSTON, SHE STARTED OUT KILLING CHICKENS BUT HAS LEARNED NOT TO DO THAT ANYMORE. BUT... WE CANT SEEM TO BREAK HER FROM ATTACKING 1 OF OUR OTHER DOGS
She is adorable! I think your vet gave you great advice about keeping her isolated until she is old enough for shots. She has bright eyes and a shiny coat and from the picture looks to be a good weight. Her ears will slowly go up at about 14 weeks, they look so comical at that stage. Although I agree...the breeder was not feeding her very well....geez.
In the past we have raised a couple litters of labradors, and by six weeks they were purely on a good brand of dry puppy food, moistened with a little warm water.
Enjoy ~ nothing like a puppy to make you laugh everyday.
We have two Boston Terriers Winston loves to chase them when I allow it but would never hurt one I let him herd them back into the coop, as long as you get a puppy and its near the chicks/chickens/ducks at a young age and teach him/her at a young age you should be fine Winston has grown up around them we used to set chicks on his back and head when we were little and he liked licking them to death (sarcastic) they don't always like the licking though. Patty ignores them completly except when they get table scraps and she tries to get them through the run with her paws and the chickens steal it back and she growls and barks trying to bite them because they stole her food.
She is very cute. How much does she weigh right now. When we got Buster his first shots he was barely 3 lbs. He had a reaction to the shots. Poor guy had a huge lump we had to hold ice on.
Gracie got loose and has been missing for just under 24 hours, it is killing my family. We posted flyers immediately, call the police station, walked around town for over 6 hours. Today we called someone with a tracking dog, but at 18 hours it was just a little too late... Please keep Gracie in your hearts, I am hoping that someone picked her up and will call the authorities and not keep her.
