Both girls laid big eggs today!

Both my layers had large eggs today. My black sex link has been laying for about 3 weeks or so now, and has had consistently small eggs, but today she laid a long egg with pointed ends.

My buff orp is new to laying and has only laid about four eggs so far, but they have been a little larger than the sex links. Today she laid a big one!
The first picture is the two eggs together. The second picture is the buff orps egg next to one of her usual sized eggs.

Perhaps one is a double yolk eggs. That is common when birds first start laying.

I bet it is. The black sex link has had one double yolk so far but it wasn't this big. This is the first big egg for the buff orpington.
