Bottle calves.... updates on progress

The scours has improved greatly and they are almost back to normal today in that respect. Not quite patty consistancy yet but we are getting their!
I am going to pick up some Nuflor from the vet to combat the pneumonia as Lola has pronounced rattling in her lungs this morning which has ne scared to death! I pray this stuff does the trick. I have heard good things about it.
I am also adding the probios to their regamine. I had given them some earyier on in the fight but it is definately time to re-introduce it.

I hope the Nuflor works! You have really had a hard time with these two. Yes, get them back on the probios. The antibiotics will kill the good bacteria and it needs to be reintroduced.

Robin, I love the way you are the SUPER Nurse to these babies and it was so good to see you yesterday....You are a wonderful and special new friend from BYC and our family just loves you....

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!

Gave babies the Nuflor, B-12 and some Banamine to help their feelings some. I am anxious to get out to the barn this morning and see the result of all that.
I must say a HUGE "Thank You" to Bargain and her DH for all of their special support durring this ordeal.

You are truly the greatest!!!!!!
I will updat later on today as to how they are perking.

As most of you know, I lost little Lola to bloat on Dec 27th. It was very difficult on everyone but I glad she is no longer suffering.

Lucy, my little beefmaster, is doing well. Her scours have passed and she is no longer coughing since the Nuflor injections.
She has a good appetite and is bright and alert. I am keeping my fingers crossed that she continues to do well. She's such a sweet girl!
I will post pictures when the weather clears up some. It is sleeting here now and just nasty in general.
