I bought some pullets from Meyer hatchery and they had trimmed their beaks. Now the bottom is outgrowing the top but I'm sure I can cut them but some guidance would be appreciated. I have chickens that were raised from day olds that I have never trimmed and their beaks look way better than these. The bottoms are at least 1/8 inch longer than the tops

If it's just the tips, they may grow back but why the*insert your own expletive* would they do that? they should at least have told you that it is their procedure. Maybe that's standard with started pullets but they should have stated so. I would call them.
