bottom of legs and feet of hen look as if no circulation

I did everything you said . Her feet are now warm, but the top of her legs are really swollen twice as big as bottoms. I will have a picture tomorrow. she is acting better.

*This is just a wild shot in the dark-- but could she be eggbound?? I'm wondering if egg pressure 'stuck' in a certain spot would cut off blood flow to her legs??

What would I do if she was . I know she has'nt layed yet she is a pullet. I am willing to eliminate all the possibilities. thanks

did you give her the aspirin?
you can reduce it to 2 (325mg) tablets in 1/2 gallon water.

please keep us updated.

how are the droppings?
is she eating and drinking?
is she walking and moving around?

her droppings are good, her appetite is great. he uses her wings to balance herself she is at least putting preasure on her legs . but, they are still swelled. Is there anything I can wrap them in without something doing more harm? Thank everyone for your imput

if she seems to be improving continue with the aspirin..
once in a while, help her up to move the legs.

or you could create a little "hammock" to let her sit in that will keep her up off the legs and help her to stand and move the legs around.

make sure her vent is clear in the hammock, and she can get to feed and water.

please keep us updated.

are the legs hot?

I just want to thank everyone again who helped. Unfortunately Rosie died .
