Bought a new car

Junkman, a few years ago I painted a Monte Carlo for a niece.
I convinced her I used 70 mile an hour paint. Go any faster and
the paint would blow off and her daddy would know she was speeding.

Not only did the girl believe me, so did her mother.

....

Told my wife I used radar-proof paint on her car. Yep, she was mad when
she got that ticket. Blamed me of all things!!!

You need to stop by one day. We can paint your pickup, it'll be purtty as
brand new. I've got a few extra brushes.

I will help Imp with the sound effects, because I am the designated driver in Washington. That's because I can drive really really really fast.

But I think I may have to put the Imp's ride in the back of my car to be able to go fast enough.

No, it can safely fit in your shirt pocket. Just make sure you take Imp out first XD

Yeah Imp's car don't look like you could get a big enough hole in the floorboard to put your feet through and get a runnin start...probably best it goes in the trunk

WOW

You guys must have hurt his feelings.

Poor guy shows off his new car and gets razzed.

You're gonna be jealous when he throws that thing into a glass of water and it turns into a luxury car.

Then how ya gonna feel??

Then again.

Can you even wash those things or do they shrink?

So really, what do they estimate mileage at?

How do they manuver?

ummm what's the top speed?

I'd like to know about them from someone who has one.

I think max speed is 220 km but 1) Mine's the Aussie model and 5 years old
2) Can't convert anything to miles

I never can get that stuff straight

The thing I worry about with them though is kids not seeing or hearing them. There are several people around here that drive down the street and you don't hear them coming and I don't think the guy down the street ever looks up when he drives. He gets within feet before the kids around here start noticing and jumping out of the way.

I guess I like varoooooooom

Yes you can wash it, can't you see its pre-shrunk.

1 mile per grain of rice, and 30 turns of rubber band

OOh, and you clean it with a single feather from the top of a chicken's head (silkies and polishes excluded). Keep in mind, the feather has to be less than 0.5 cm in length and width unless you want to smash the windscreen or something.....

Had to bring the chickens in people!! After all, we're "peeps", right?

I've got 2 pickups. But, I don't think either should be painted until all the bumps and bruises are "healed-up".

The little one...a VW diesel pickup....could use some 90 mph paint !!! (I got it up to 75 mph once on a LONNGG downhill grade.)

The big one....a 1-ton 4x4 Ford with a BIG V-8.....has 2 factory 18 gal. gas-tanks.....and a 125 gallon tank in the bed. It can easily handle the trip from the Bank to the Gas Station...no matter the weather. It could use some GOLD paint (24 carat about 1/4 inch thick).

Like "fine furniture"...these pickups should not be painted with a brush....but, rather, the paint should be applied with a clean rag and rubbed in deeply, then finished with a good grade of synthetic motor-oil.

Imp,

You must have done some heavy-duty "dickering" when you bought that purrty Honda thingy. Apparently you've put Honda into the "Red". (See following NEWS Headline)

Honda reports nearly 40% drop in quarterly profit, hit by a strong yen and slower sales in Japan - AP

Since you caused that, Imp, I forgive you for not buying an American-Made vehicle.
