awesome mascot for your flock by the way. Looks great. I've got a polish rooster I'd love to replace with that one.

Hi this one was from a local young man just up the road from me in Lancaster and my other pollish was bought from a breeder in Singleton from a place called manor farm poultry.Ruby Fox I'm in the UK also, where do you get your polish hens from?
aww I've herd of the farm.. I'm essex based just about to get some silkies and polishes. I've built a run around 16m2 with a hen house that's designed for 8 birds... how many in a design that size do you think would fit happy and comfortable xHi this one was from a local young man just up the road from me in Lancaster and my other pollish was bought from a breeder in Singleton from a place called manor farm poultry.
The only thing is, the chicken house's state 8 birds but probably wouldnt fit even 8 bantams. Saying that I have 7 (3 silkies, 3 milliefluer & 1 polish) and they choose to all go into the same house/coop at night and squeeze in lol so I sold my second coop for this reason. Now the only problem I have a broody silkie and the others wont lay anywhere else and only only laying box, so I am always taking out the broody hen, How many was you thinking of getting?aww I've herd of the farm.. I got a friend who is a carpenter to do the hen house designed it for 8 large chickens. Its pretty big has 6 nest boxes etc. Was hoping to get 6 2 polish 2 silkies and 2 legbars but wasn't to sure how the legbars would be with the silkies and polish girls as I herd they get bullied fairly easy xThe only thing is, the chicken house's state 8 birds but probably wouldnt fit even 8 bantams. Never owned a legbar before, I can recommend lemon millefleur sablepoot bantams, they are the most friendly chickens ever, two of mine now fly up to our hands or shoulders .I got a friend who is a carpenter to do the hen house designed it for 8 large chickens.
