Bought eggs on Ebay.. *mini rant*

Ok so i bought 10 eggs on sun then 18 more (1 order of ten one order of 8) on mon.... after I won I payed immediately like i always do... but me being dumb and not thinking I sent and email asking the seller if it was possible to send all the eggs at once.... i got the first ten yesterday the 24th then i was wondering why the seller never answered my question, I figured it was because they alreadt sent set one out...then I check my dad's email (i don't have my own ebay account) and i got an email saying that I only paid for two of the orders...

apparantely I confused them with the question, they assumed I bought all thress sets the same night, they sell lots of eggs, the 1st set was what I supposedly had not paid for... I already have these now, I sent another email explaining where the mix up happened but have'nt got a reply...I'm upset cause now I have set one and am waiting on set 2 and 3...if it doesn't come tommorrow I am definitely going to have to do staggered hatch they only ship on mon, tue, and wed.

I get really confused sometimes on how thoes ebay auctions work. Hope everything works out!!!

The key is to ask questions like this BEFORE bidding. That way if the seller doesn't respond or if they can't do what you want, then you don't have to worry with it anymore.

Sorry you had a bad experience. Don't know who you bought from but email them with your item numbers and they can easily identify your purchases that way. SOunds like they need to be more organized with their sales. Always get that stuff arranged before you bid, say if I win can you ship both orders together?

If they do not respond to you and get it straightened out you can ask ebay to intervene. Every time a payment comes in to a seller's account, paypal charges another fee to the seller so it is better for the seller also if you pay once, just so you know.

FOR FUTURE:If you had asked the seller to send you an invoice with combined shipping BEFORE PAYING you would save on shipping and have everything in the same box. Just a thought. I sell eggs on ebay all the time (sugysugy is my user name there) but very rarely list more than one group at a time though I may start once I get my new coop with more breeding pens.
