Bought some peachicks today!

I only bought 3. A Black Shoulder, India Blue Pied, and a Cameo (Could be a pied.)

I'm a little worried for the Cameo, he/she looks like it may have spraddle leg but he/she was perfectly fine in the brooder when we went to go pick them up. They are just day-olds, could it just be because it may still be weak? I have them on a towel in a warm brooder with feed scattered on the floor and they have a waterer with vitamins in it. Its left leg just sticks out to the side and he/she lays down.

I'm not sure what to do and I really don't want to lose him because I would just feel so aweful if that happened.

Pics would help. If it isn't able to walk, you may be able to give it a hobble so that it has to keep its legs under it rather than going out to the side.

I called the Peafowl Breeder and I some how picked out the spraddle leg chick.. Just my Luck, Right? He said to bring it back and he'll deal with it. I got another one just like it, hopefully! Pictures in a bit! )

Here's the pictures of them. I know a lot of people raise peachick's on wire but I just don't like putting any animal on wire. Seems cruel to me, but whatever. Everyone has their own way of doing things.

I put all my birds on shavings, keeps the droppings off their feet and feathers,smells better to.

Uhm, I'm looking at this picture and if you're naming colors from left to right, that left side chick, if it's not totally white (and I think I see small spots of color, but the pic is pretty blurry), it's almost certainly a silver pied of some kind... Although looking at a few cameo pied pics, it's possible they are all mostly white at that age.

As for the tan one on the right side... doesn't look like an india blue to me. Looks... cameo or something with that burnished tan color... maybe it's the lighting.

Left - silver pied of some sort, centre white or blackshoulder, right cameo pied or cameo split white

I agree with Arbor. I don't think the cameo is pied however.

And your "black-shoulder" looks like a white baby to me but maybe it's the lighting?

Either way you got a nice assortment!
