As it turns out my expanding where the girls can go really upset BB, my wife. My wife enjoys a shaded area to sit and relax in. The girls have been expanding the free range area which included the area my wife likes, and it is a huge issue right now. With the fly’s and the pooping and not having alone time without the girls. My wife commented it is not funny or fun to me anymore!! So I put a 30” children’s fence across so I could have access and the girls just jump it and go to a cool spot they love and hang, sleep, bathing, and just their favorite spot and I am having a huge problem keeping them in the chicken side of the fence. I know I could get another fence but we are renters and building a fence is not possible. Any ideas that chickens won’t like to cross??

Thanks in advance,

Steve

You could get electric poultry netting, you don't have to electrify it though. It is made by Premeir Fence and moveable so you can take it with you if you move. It just stakes in the ground. I use it all the time and never have had to electrify yet for the birds I did once for the dogs and now they won't go near it. I bought the double spoke kind that you just step on to push in the ground.

Good luck
