A long story made short: Those are from a Cackle Hatchery special.

Wow those guys are beautiful...hmm I hear the Brahmas are suppose to be nice guys...not finding them so friendly..maybe because I got them at 2 to 3weeks but my other crew seem nicer. I hope to win them over.

The girls are friendly little chatterboxes, but the roos can be mighty protective and aggressive. I make a point to pick up and coddle my roo every chance I get, and it seems to help.

Yeah, maybe they are roo's or at least one of them could be..he is larger and I swear I thought he was pecking at me to try to get away! Today I tried to entice them with some yummy sow bugs..no luck..they didn't know what to do with them nor wanted to come near my hands..

I'm learning to process (maybe Friday?) on a 4 month old light brahma cockerel and the breeder said he was probably 8+ lbs.
