Just have a back up plan in place in case someone turns you in. I fell in love with my little Roo when I lived in the suburbs. Nobody ever reported me, though he crowed like crazy and we got reported for barking dogs multiple times lol. When we were moving, my neighbor even told me he would miss the crowing in the morning.

Of course there is a good chance somebody will complain so try to find a nice place that will take him and keep him just in case.
