I don't see any red in the comb. By 6 weeks old an SS rooster should be obvious. I think you have a girl.

This is my first SS so I'm pretty clueless. I'm hoping Calidora isn't a Calvin. Such a sweetheart, I cant have roosters so I was worried. Do you have SS's??

I've raised a lot of SS over the years. Right now I have 3 hens
(and an SS rooster in the freezer)

I did some research on the breed but then I read all kinds of things like the males have more white on their chests, and some say no that's not true....ugh I get frustrated because I had to get rid of a roo and it was so hard. I will say he went to some friends that have a farm and he's doing wonderful
