Hi! Does this little chick look like a young rooster? Out of nowhere it's comb and wattles got bright red. I know it's still really early but I thought I'd ask.

Right?! That's what I was thinking. Also, do you have A guess at what breed he is? His feathering colors as a chick looks just like ancona chicks, but I bought him from TSC and he was in the bin labeled assorted bantams. Maybe a Cochin?

I would say he is a Mottled Cochin Bantam.
