At 6 weeks old you will be able to tell with Barred Rocks. Do you have another BR chick? If so take a picture side by side and post it. Take the pics a tad farther back if possible.

My guess is "I'm not sure". but 2 more weeks will tell the sex better by far.

In my opinion, it's a little too pink in the comb & wattles and thick in the legs for a pullet at one month. Chick Charm is right. Give it another couple of weeks and you'll know for sure.

I think it's male. The reddish comb at this young age, the overall light coloring indicates two barring genes that only males can have, and the light colored legs are all male signs.
