Boy or Girl??

Can anyone help? This little guy or girl is about 2 months old and he/she has been much more aggressive than my other chickens. Pecking the others, jumping on their backs, pecking and me and my kids etc.....and last night he/she creeped up on my 7 year old daughter and jumped on her head! He/she has a much louder caw then the others, they are still pretty much chirping and he sounds like he's cock a doodle doo-ing. I'm new at having chickens and still trying to figure this out, any help would be appreciated.

Well I think it's a cockerel by the way your describing its personality, but from the pics. It looks like a female. There has been some females that crow (and they usually are the leaders in the brood) And also from the looks of him/her it has not started to develop tail feathers, or wing feathers. I have a 4 mounts old BR cockerel that I noticed started to mature at 2 months. I'd keep an eye on her/him until 4 months. Hope this helps.

The rust colored patches on the wings are a sure sign it's a cockerel.
