Sorry about your Cochin. We bought an Ancona, and I’ve never researched them before. My daughter think it’s a baby roo! I’m holding out for pullet. Do you have pics of yours as a chick or any input on figuring it

It’s best to wait till about 6 to 8 weeks to see comb size. Saddles can come in around 12 to 14 weeks depending on the bird.

To early to tell at this age. Anything we say will have a 50% chance of being right at this stage. If you post pictures when it’s around 8 weeks we’ll be happy to help!

the first one( ancona) is a rooster the 2 black ones are pullets for sure!
