I lost a hen for the first time a few weeks ago and was pretty upset about it so I put the last 4 of her eggs into the incubator, two didn’t make it so I was left with two chicks. I thought it would be a little while before I could tell genders but I think this little chick attempted a crow. I’m not sure it is though because I’ve never seen one crow this young (6 days) so I was wondering if anyone else had something to say about this. Is it normal?

That is seriously adorable. Yes, that's a crow attempt. It doesn't happen this early usually, but if you mean "normal" as in not healthy, then no. It's a perfectly healthy baby. Most likely a male
He is real cute when he was doing it, took me by surprise cause this would be my 4th rooster and I’ve not seen any of them crow this early. I was worried it might be something else wrong but at least he’s healthy :)

Yeahhhhhhh, he’s looking like a boy to me 😔. And it looks like his little “sister” was just a slow (usual?) starter and may be a little boy too based if the comb alone.
