Boys or girls?

Hello - I’m new here and new to chicks! We have a pekin and a barbu d’uccle - they are just over 3 weeks and gorgeous little characters..
Is it too early to tell if they’re male or female? Any guesses?

They are too young to determine gender. Wait at least another 3 weeks and post new pictures.

Still early but the buff looking one looks like a cockerel.
The black one looks like a pullet for now.

Agree with above, repost with new photos when they are about 6 weeks of age.

I keep googling and am swaying towards a cockerel for the buff one.. we fostered them from tiny chicks from a local farm and have the option to give back or buy at the end of it.. we’re all so attached to them but live in a residential area so couldn’t keep a cockerel, the neighbors would hate me! Going to be sooooooo upset if we have to hand them back

He / she is now five and a half weeks.. is it obvious to anyone yet whether my pretty barbu d’uccle chicken is male or female?? Thank you!!!
