Boys or girls?

How do you tell? I know this question is probably asked every day lol, but just had my first round of chicks (we've always had adult chicks). I've got 2 welsummers and 2 brown leghorns. They aren't a week old yet. Any tips on how to tell?

you probably need to wait longer...I don't have those breeds....try posting some pics, and do it on the Breeds and Gender thread also...someone can help.

The roosters tails will develop faster, as will their combs and wattles, and they will be slightly larger. In some breeds there are specific traits that allow you to sex them even earlier, but between 3 and 8 weeks you will be able to tell pretty well and after that it will become more obvious.
