Hi, this is my first post. I have a mixed collection of 15 chicks approx 7-8 weeks. I have a good idea of the sex of a few, but some of them I'm not so sure about. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    5 silkie looks like girl
6 silkie looks like a boy
But with all silkies it sometimes takes one to crow or lay an egg before you know! :)

Thankyou for the replies. It sounds like I have a ratio of 5 cockerel to 9 pullets with the white silkie still unknown. I thought I would end up with the majority being cockerels and since I can't keep the boys it's def good news. X

Thankyou for your thoughts folks, really pleased. Just need to try to find good homes for the cockerels to go to in a few weeks
