I'm actually quite looking forward to it, despite being cut off from civilisation for five whole days.

last time i went to camp i hated it! it was at boyne island near gladstone. we went just to town and i missed BYC wayyy tooooo much! but it was for an important reason. grandma had to go to hospital.

We get the joys of cooking our own meals and putting everything we carry around in a canoe. Doing it the old fashioned way.

Oh, your poor grandma! Was she okay?

I think I'm going to miss BYC too.

that sounds sooo much more fun than mine was. yeah grandma is okay. she broke her ball joint in the hip after falling over. all good now, hopefully!

What did you do on yours?

This is the first year we won't have toilets or bins.
