Hi to all I have a problem that I can't resolve.
One of my BPR hens stopped laying for the last Tree month after 7-8 month of good laying.
Some info:
She is 1.5 years old, I raised here from the beginning. She is the most beautiful and healthy looking hen in my flock.
They eat :balanced layer feed, fermented feed, greens, vegetables, and fruits, they also freerange in my yard for the all day in which they catch insects, and eat green grass as much as they want, they also have some high protein treats once a day,( it is 5-10% from their food intake), and free oistershell. I de-worm them twice a year.
I have tried to give here some extra vitamins an electrolytes, some reach calcium and protein food, extra light, nothing helped! Her weight is almost 6 pound, I don't have a rooster!
Any ides?

At 1.5 years old she may be getting ready to molt.

If you free range all day she may be laying somewhere in the range area.

Keep them locked up in the coop/run for a few days to week to see for sure and re-habituate them to laying in the coop nests.

Thanks for responding.
I have already search all my yard ( it isn't very big) and I have found nothing.
She is the only hen that didn't pass a heavy molting, she just had some very light feather loss, so maybe there is something in this.
But 3 month of not laying, before loosing even one feather?
