For the past few days and today we have been getting our show steer prospects out of the woods

 

[Lacy Duckwing]

After years of neglect I finally got this done.
It probably took a few days to make overall, and I almost ran out of orange yarn at one point, but my mom managed to find the exact right color again.
He’s got some kidney and pinto beans in him for weight, but also stuffing. I didn’t use a pattern, I just freehanded the whole thing, so he’s got imperfections.
I was anxious about doing the hind legs, but they came out amazing and I’m SO happy with them.
His wingspan is 24.5 in and from nose to tail-tip he’s 19.5 in. His name is Kalmar.

Meine Apfelbaum ist jetzt zu groß!
Anyone know what the whitish fuzz is at the top, or is that normal? Should it be repotted? Does it need to be outside now?

I’ve seen the white stuff on my apple tree, I always thought the fuzz on newly opened leaves was to protect them from frost since they usually start to bloom/ sprout in very early spring. Might still be a good idea to get it checked out.
