BR. 20 weeks comb still very pale

I have several BR. All hatched March 4th but their. Combs and paddles are still very light when will they start to get red?

As hormones kick in.... I had BR lay between 18-26 weeks from the same batch of feed store chicks.

Generally I expect most my Feb birds to lay during July. So March hatched, I would be expecting August layers. It's so hard waiting!

20wk still got some growin to do

Combs and 'wattles' will enlarge and brighten when they are good and ready - frustrating, I know.

Combs and 'wattles' will enlarge and brighten when they are good and ready - frustrating, I know.

Most of mine also become a lot more chatty and bawking as they get close.
