BR chick - Roo? Red comb and wattles already

Okay, I vowed I would not ask so early on, but wow! My BR is 3.5 weeks old (shipped on June 1st from MPC) and she is bigger than the rest, bigger legs, comb turning red and yesterday I noticed red wattles. Though she does have black on her legs. Thoughts? Opinions? or still too early to tell. I know I should wait until there is a crow or an egg, but interested in opinions as a newbie to chicks.

Well honestly she is pretty white I would probably say it is a roo but those lines bug me. could it be crossed?

You have a roo. I raised 4 BR chicks in my room for 3 1/2 weeks and 3 of the 4 turned out to be cockerals.

Shoot, everyone says Roo....I'm in the city so no roo's for me. Is it better to wait for the crowing to be sure? Any chance everyone is wrong

Sorry to say but that chick is 100% roo... not only by the comb and waddles but also the feathering. To still have that much fuzz at 3.5 weeks is another indicator of roo-ville.

Sorry! But now you get to go through the fun of aquiring another chick/hen!!!

We order six chicks for our first backyard urban flock, knowing we might lose some to roosterville or shipping trauma. Hopefully no others are roos! I am already way too attached to them.
