BR pullet or cockerel??

10 1/2 weeks old. Tail feathers make me think it's a hen.

Light enough to be a cockeral. The comb and wattles plus the red coloring gives it away.

Speckled Hen will be able to tell you right off. She's the expert. I'm not.

ETA: Usually by this age a roos tail feathers are really pronounced. I also have a pullet that's light like a roo!!

we have a BR cockerel that is a few days older than yours here (11 wks. tomorrow). he is light colored like yours, has huge comb/waddles that are bright red, and yellow legs instead of the darker legs of the BR pullets we have. i think yours is a cockerel just like ours. FWIW, our little guy is crowing like mad now, has no tail feathers that a bigger rooster would have as of yet, and pecks the fire out of you when you reach into the coop to pick him up. that sealed his fate in the frying pan.

I have some the same age...11 of them in fact and I vote Roo. The only way I can tell mine is when they are next to each other. My hubby and I have a bet. I say we have 3 roos and 7 hens (wishful thinking) and he says 4 roos.

I guess we will see in another week or so..

My vote is cockerel. I've got 5 of them this year. He looks too light to be a pullet.
