BR sex question

Good morning. I had bought a BR last week that they told me was a pullet. On posting his picture on here, a lot of people posted it was a boy due to the light colored feet, stubby wings and big yellow head spot. When I took him back to see if they could rehome him, they said yes and insisted I take this one. I'm afraid to take it home and find out again after my kids are attached. Here are some pictures of it. Any thoughts? It does not have a tiny yellow dot, but it does have darker feet.

Did you take it home? Most barred rocks can somewhat be sexed by head spots, but not always, nor leg coloring. I would rely on them being vent sexed. Otherwise it's better to wait until they are about 5-8 weeks to know for sure.

female BR usually have a "black wash," over their feet - like your new chick does. You can also post again at 6-8 weeks of age if you still have doubts.
