Brabanters and Spitzhaubens--The Differences PIC HEAVY!

I am no where close to Yukatat, I think they are off the road system.

Which means that they would be flying through Anchorage, and I would be more than happy to meet anyone in Anchorage to grab either eggs or chicks.

Remind me next February, and I'll see when she's going.

Attached is a photo of one of my Chamois Spitzhaubens from Greenfire Farms. They are about 12 weeks old now. I do not see any wattles growing on any of the chicks as yet. When do they start coming in? I am still wondering about sex. Is this a male?

Surely by 12 weeks, it would be crowing if it were a boy. Wouldn't it?

I just acquired 6 Cream Brabanter hatching eggs they will be going in the incubator in the morning, I'm so excited I just love these birds!
Fingers crossed I will have a few chicks in 21 days )

My chickens usually do not crow by 12 weeks. Does this breed crow at 12 weeks?

I don't know.....but my little D'uccle That i raised this spring, were crowing by then. Badly though, very badly.
