Howdy Friends, I don't know what your Wally Worlds carry but mine carry local produce and local outdoor supplies, and of course, the hated stuff made in china, a country which I detest. Most of the feed we get around here comes from around here. I've heard where a certain political party has decided that it's constituents should protest
Walmart every chance they get but I know at least 4 people, Americans, who work there so at least some of the money goes back into our local economies from their families.
Please, don't take what I've asked folks to do the wrong way, I am not for putting local businesses out of work but I do need to cut cost where I can, and by the way, I do grow veggies for my birds, and plant corn, peas, beans, and greens for the local deer & hog populations too. Their meats are some of the finest, leanest cuts and nothing taste quite like a good ol pig pickin, which we have here at one place or another doggone regularly. I also go to the Intercoastal waterways to harvest oysters for all the parties our friends throw who have the steamer setups but nobody's seafood shops are going out of business because of that. At least I get all the shells after it's over and break them up to feed birds with. Works out darn well I might add!
Walmart's policy of using slave made goods from communist countries irks the heck out of me and you won't find a more vocal protester on this subject! Like I said, most people I know just need to cut their cost where they can. I have about 60 chickens and 4 hungry Catahoula Leopard Dogs that must be fed and taken cared of after my wife and son.
I hear what your saying though and agree with it, to an extent.
