Just got this bunch of assorted rainbow layer hens from Cackle Hatchery... will be fun to see what they grow up to be! I guess at least a couple of lavender Ameracauna or Auracana?? (they were only in this 'box' temporarily while I got their 'real living quarters' put together. :)

Show off my babies? Why yes I'd love to!

I just started 2 years ago so my 3 big girls (Speckled Sussex, Olive Egger, and Dominique) are almost 2 years old. They are awesome. They hang out with their dog brother.

Then I'm raising a batch of 3 babies that are about 3 weeks old. A Bielefelder, Ameraucana, and Easter Egger.

Wish I discovered chickens before my 40s...I love then!

I love turkens, your others are also adorable! Are they all bantams? I’m a bit worried about having a naked neck rooster and my bantam (hopefully) pullets, so we are building a second smaller coop to go at the other end of the run.

The suspense! That sounds like fun!

I’m jealous of your pup. I’m working hard with our labrador but he’s huge and not even two yet, so he simply can’t be trusted. He’s just too excited by the chickens, hopefully one day.
