How great is that! I have 9 butterscotch in the bator right now from my sister in law, and a hen outside to finish them up the last 4 days. Have had 100% hatch rate (after fertility check of course) with incubating 3 weeks, under hen last week or 4-5 days.

Those babies are just sooooo adorable!

p.s. about the pullet thing... I have gotten pullets from duck eggs. My sister in law gave me duck eggs last spring, identical eggs, at 21 days I had 3 chucks.

She has a little spangled OEG cross, we later found out her father was an Aracauna/OEG mix, chuck's father was cornish. Mother in law also got a chuck. So now we have to be careful, the little hen lays her eggs with the ducks.
