Brahma buff chicks male or female

Did they make any guarantees on them being pullets? I feel like when you buy from a backyard breeder, you should expect they are straight run if they are just a couple weeks old. They may have given it their best guess but unless they have someone who can vent sex available to them, it is just a guess before the male signs begin to show.

Actually yeah! He gave 95% sure that they were pullets and vent sexed … It’s mostly a bummer to me because I went specifically buying them since they were sexed and I have already 2 other small cockerels I want to keep with them I appreciate the help!

That first image of a white chick looks male. The comb is already turning pink and it doesn't even have the majority of feathers in yet.

I can't see enough of the brown one to be certain but the front view makes the patterning look pretty splotchy and I don't see any patterning in the leg feathers. That would suggest male as well. A profile view in light that's not red would help verify.

I will try to take a better picture when I have help to hold them!
