Brahma Hens & Roosters

I bought these at the local hardware store for Easter. They have grown beautifully, look healthy, act healthy. My problem is I ended up with 4 roosters and 1 hen. I have not been able to find anyone here in NW Georgia with this breed of chicken. So I am having a hard time getting info. Can I put other breeds in with them? I am thinking of just putting 3 of the roosters in the freezer, if I cant trade or give them away!

Good idea to eat them. You can put a note on the buletin board at the feed store. Check out Craigs list. I look at it quite often and there are many assorted breeds advertised north and/of west of Atlanta. Failing all that, get rid of the extra cockerals and hatch your own in the spring. Having good stock to start with is more than half the battle. Good luck.......Pop
