I agree with your assessment, it does look like an OEGB, and at the very leat an OEGB mix. I'm not good with too many colours, nor genetics, so I have no theory as far as the origins of her colour go

She did not lay eggs until 9-10 months. She actually started laying after my brahma hens laid eggs. She had us stu.ped thinking she was a rooster until she laid an egg.
