Brahma- Lt Roo to Buff Hen any one have any knowledge of offspring??

Hello after reading some of these post on the extensive genetic research and breeding done by some of BYC's members I feel as though this is an almost unworthy questionbut here goes. I have a Lt Brahma roo and will be mating with a Buff Brahma hen does any one know if chicks will be one or the other or just a mix of the two? I am sure if anyone knows the answer it will be a BYC member. Ya'll have proven this time after time. I read somewhere that if reversed Buff Brahma Roo mate to Lt Brahma Hen that chicks are sex link. Lt being pullet and Buff being cockrel. I have no idea if this is true. If so what if reversed as in my situation? Sorry bout the length of this post, fear of being misunderstood I guess. lol Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you

I'm not sure on the outcome either, but my guess would be buff-laced Brahmas.

Serious Bill So I don't get lost (feeble minded ya know) Lt Brahma are the same as Silver Columbia or the same when it refers to dominant genes? So it will not matter Lt Roo , silver technically or Buff Roo ,gold technically the chicks will be buff=pullet and Lt= roo? If I understand correctly. OK seriously Seriousbill I went back and read your reply more carefully and I think I get it now. Basically sex link when roo is buff(golden) not sex link when roo is light(silver). Silver being dominant and because of the chromosones delivered by the male and female? Did I get it this time?Whew I Don't know how genetisist do it guess they gotta have a mind capable of wrapping around this stuff. Again thanks, thanks for being one of those folks with the wrap around mind. lol
