BRAHMA MAHMA TRAHMA AGAIN! New chick emergency!

She is doing a lot better than my Mr. Brahma who now lays beneath the apple tree. She moves around the brooder, and I gave her a little sugar water but not a lot. I couldn't resist putting two rubber duckies in there with her, but she doesn't care about them too much.

They dont make noise LOL

Well her 'one side' is not fluffy and has the sore ear, and the other side seems to be fine. Is there any reason for this, because I'm thinking it's a developmental problem, not something my hen did. I do know my hen pushed it away, but I don't think she attacked it.

Uuuum. Im not sure but if it was lying down it could be that. For the longest time I had a millie banty that couldnt walk and her whole side would flatten like she had died and went stiff (she didnt though until a few days ago). Sorry to be sort of graphic. but thats the only thing I can think of. So it might be that.

Maybe, but she lays on both sides. She's pretty active too. GUESS WHAT! last time I checked it, I looked through the roof of the brooder and found her CUDDLING with a rubber ducky. So she did want some company, even if it was quiet. It's been quite a while and I thought maybe some of her fuzz would have fluffed up around that area, but she looks basically the same as she did. But she's doing good!

She gets around pretty good, but she doesn't exactly stand on her legs completely. Will she be able to later, and is it just because she hatched today?
