After having a chick pass bc of what I guess was some sort of internal development issue I called TSC and they offered a replacement chick. I go down, pick out what is labeled as a brahma pullet. However she has clean legs? Side effect of being hatchery chick? Or not brahma at all? Thanks for the help!

Hubby just got home and I wanted to show her(him?) to him. Checked the feet...i believe just yellow? Will try to get a pic in the daylight tomorrow. The pullet part was bc TSC had everything they had listed as pullets...so I just went with it. I know it's not a guarantee but I hope so! My daughter named it Melinda lol

What kind of comb? Honestly, it doesn't look like my BGJ when she was a chick. The legs should be black, she had no white on her face... I think you have a silver laced Wyandotte.
My BJG when she was a chick for reference.

The bird looks mottled versus black. Sometimes a Black Australorp or Jersey Giant shows that much white/yellow as a chick, but I'd guess Mottled Java, especially with those bright yellow/orange feet. I suppose it could be any other breed like a Mottled Anacona for instance.
