Hey everyone! About a week ago I noticed my 5 month old Brahma roo, Chief, was limping around a bit. I brought him in to examine his legs and noticed that all around the areas of the leg feather follicles was pink. I could tell that those must be quite sensitive. My Brahma hens seem to have matured quicker in that area and aren't having any trouble. He started getting a bit better but now he is back to hobbling around. I noticed my other roos are having the same issue, just not as bad. So, is there anything I can do or is this just part of the maturing process? I can try to take a picture if he'll cooperate if one would help! Thanks in advance!

So I have Brahmas and this happens all the time to mine. Can you clean them and maybe warp them to let them heal?
Thanks for the reply! I actually soaked it when it first started happening then disinfected it and wrapped it. It seemed to help a bit but the bulk of the problem are his toe feathers and I felt bad wrapping each individual toe. Do you think I should just let him grow out of it??

You can.
I gave up on mine since they started coming back in now that they are molting.
I think I made a thread once or posted about it in my Chickens and Flowers thread.
