I've been treating my light brahma rooster, Roostroyer, for bumblefoot in both of his feet and he's been doing ok, but I think he's secretly trying to destroy himself. Besides breaking off both of his spurs while chasing some tail, he managed to break off all the feathers off one of his outer toes. All that is left are the shafts of the feathers, and he was bleeding quite a bit. I put kwikstop on his toe and saw that the shafts broke at skin level, so I can't pull them off. He did this a couple of weeks ago, and while most holes have closed and there are 2-3 broken shafts left, the whole area is swollen. He's not limping or anything, and I soak his feet in epsom salt water almost every day. I put neosporin on his toe (besides bandanging his feet for bumblefoot), but the swelling won't go away. When I comepare both toes of his feet, his feathered toe feels thick as well, but the swollen one is thicker.
I don't have a clear picture of his feet only, but you can see here his right foot with the "bald" tow and how swollen it looks. Is there anything I can do to treat his toe?
